Where is Georgia ? The country of Georgia is located on the distinction between Asia and Europe. it’s located within the mountain chain and borders the sea. Georgia borders four different countries, that are Republic of Armenia, Russia, Turkey and Azerbaijani Republic. Georgia used to be a part of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, however it gained independence on april 9, 1991. The capital and largest town in Georgia is T’bilisi. The country mainly has a Mediterranean climate, but it does sometimes suffer from earthquakes. Georgia has an area of 26,911 miles. the main and the official language is Georgian, although Russian and English also spoken.
